Army Wags get naked for hero troops

A number of wives and girlfriends (Wags) of troops serving in the armed forces have taken their clothes off to show their support for the military.

The group stripped off to pose for a sexy calendar – the proceeds from which will go to Help for Heroes – the Sun reports.

Barmaid Tilly Lambert came up with the idea for the shoot after her boyfriend Sapper Adam Lee set off for the frontline in Afghanistan.

The finished product has been called Armed Buns 2011 and is going on sale for £8.99.

Ms Lambert said: "It was great fun and it's for a great cause. The calendar looks great and I hope lots of people buy it."

It was the first time any of the girls had been involved in such a project, she added.

Meanwhile, members of the Vale Golf Club recently took part in a range of fundraising activities in aid of Help for Heroes and managed to collect £924 for the cause.
