Help for Heroes is set to receive somewhat of a bank holiday boost this weekend as kind-hearted residents in Tidworth, Wiltshire enjoy a day of music events to raise money for the charity.

The Clarendon Club will play host to the event, which will see a variety of bands take to the stage in the hope of helping members of the armed forces who have been wounded while in battle, the Andover Advertiser reports.

Those in attendance will be treated to performances by rock band Black Dog, easy listening tunes by Vintage and a set by classic rockers Knockin On.

As well as local bands providing entertainment, a disco and hog roast will also be available for all those who get involved in the bank holiday extravaganza.

The Swindon Advertiser recently reported that the town’s residents decided to celebrate St George’s Day last Friday (April 23rd) with a host of activities – including a bouncy castle, face painting and a barbeque – to raise money for Help for Heroes.
