How many pancakes have you seen flipped at one time?

I struggle to get one up and over and with Pancake Tuesday taking place tomorrow (February 21st), I could certainly do with some practice.

Students from Sheffield University have set a Guinness World Record after 890 people flipped the snack for 30 seconds.

It absolutely destroys the previous mark set in the Netherlands of 405, which just goes to show you there must be some talented people at the uni.

All of the money collected from the endeavour is going to the homeless charity St Vincent's.

David McKown, who organised the event, told the Star: "It's been a phenomenal turnout and we're thrilled to have broken the record so convincingly."

I would have loved to have been at the flipping contest, as I'm sure it was quite a sight and I'm looking forward to testing out my skills tomorrow.
