Individuals should be honest on their online profiles if they want to be successful when using the medium.

This is according to an article in the Toronto Star, which stated that if single people meet up with others who have lied on their displays, then they should "cut the person off right then".

When deciding whether or not to pursue a relationship, individuals need to make sure they are attracted to someone beyond their looks, while they should not exchange messages for too long before looking for a face-to-face meet.

"If you're looking to date, it means getting out [and meeting] the person, not hunkering over a computer," the news provider stated.

When it comes to chemistry, individuals cannot try to force it, as it will happen naturally if it is given a chance.

If a good time is had, then people should persevere for a while longer to see if the spark can be found.
