£107k for H4H thanks to Tetley's Raise A Glass campaign

Tetley's Raise A Glass campaign has collected over £107,000 for Help for Heroes (H4H).

A number of fundraising events, such as the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, were organised as part of the initiative, which also saw 1p from every pint of draught Tetley's sold in August added to the total.

Triple Paralympic silver medallist Jon-Allan Butterworth - who used to be a soldier before losing his left arm while serving a tour of duty in Iraq - gave H4H a cheque for £107,760.

Speaking to the Sun, Mr Butterworth said he was delighted to be part of the presentation process.

"I've seen first-hand how the money raised for this charity can change people's lives and would like to thank everyone at Tetley's for their support," he added.

The funds are going to be used to develop and maintain Tedworth House, which is a rehabilitation support centre in Wiltshire funded by H4H.
