UFOs spotted hovering over Cornwall

Of all the things that would seem alien to us, heading to a British beach in February would surely rank up there, but according to local reports, beings from another planet have been doing just this in the last few days. Locals from Cornwall report seeing an alien space craft hovering over a popular beach last weekend – although there was no confirmation if aliens were actually planning to grab a Cornetto and a donkey ride. 

Caught on camera at Sumerleaze Beach in Bude, Cornwall, and sent to the Cornwall UFO Research Group, a photo taken by a local appears to show some sort of silver coloured object floating over the water. 

Some people are claiming that there is no other explanation than it being a ship from another planet, while some have suggested that the mysterious craft is something altogether less sinister but equally baffling – a radio controlled seagull!

David Gillham from the Cornwall UFO Research Group said on Facebook: "Taken at Summerleaze Beach, Bude, North Cornwall 17th February 2015. Looks triangular….but I have no idea what it is? The second sighting I have witnessed around North Cornwall in two weeks."

Other potential explanations, aside from aliens, have claimed that the object may just be the Russian bombers that were spotted off the coast of the UK last week. 

Or maybe it's both…

According to Simon Parkes, a town councillor from Whitby, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is being controlled and/or advised by beings from another planet! 

Mr Parkes, a reliable source for all things paranormal given his own relationships with aliens and the fact his mother is apparently a 9ft green monster from outer space, claims that Mr Putin has been getting visits from aliens for more than two years, and that they have been telling him to stand up to the US. 

While that all sounds feasible(!), Mr Parkes also made the frankly ludicrous claim that the Kremlin is now using typewriters to make sure the US cannot use spyware to monitor them.
