A woman has revealed she received plenty of messages from keen men following her decision to sign up to three online dating sites.

Jennifer Hyland conducted research for the Daily Record by joining three of the UK's most prominent dating platforms.

She explained that while there was a time online dating was a taboo subject, it is now a normal and effective way to find a new partner.

One of the immediate trends that she noticed was that she received plenty of correspondence from single men, often within a short time of joining the sites.

Purely by adding a photograph of herself and the line, "No alcoholics, workaholics, commitment-phobic chauvinists, freeloaders or perverts", Ms Hyland attracted many responses.

Her experience goes to show that single women all over the UK can be lucky in love simply by signing up to an online dating site and chatting with fellow singletons.ADNFCR-2867-ID-801712539-ADNFCR
