Suitor numbers 'likely to rocket' through online dating

People looking for love are likely to find plenty of individuals in the same boat when they use online dating.

While bumping into someone in a bar or club, never mind in the street or a supermarket, can be difficult, finding a person with similar interests can be a lot easier online.

What's more, those with no real love interests today might see this number rocket should they search for a potential partner via the web tomorrow.

And sifting through all the fellow users looking to hook up will enable people to pick out the profiles they are most attracted to.

Writing for Adelaide Now, Rebekah Devlin revealed she got more than 700 responses to online dating when she gave it a whirl.

She noted: "How long would it take you in the real world to meet 700 single guys who are in your city, roughly the right age group and your sexual orientation?"
