People can meet 'like-minded individuals online'

Online dating websites are a great way for people to meet like-minded individuals.

Typically, many may struggle to run into their perfect partner in a bar or at a club, but the web offers them the chance to flick through various profiles and pick one that suits them.

Frances Burscough, speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, observed it proved to be an excellent medium for her when it came to making connections with people.

She went on to note such was her dedication to succeed in finding a new partner that she jumped right into online dating.

"[It] was definitely the easiest way of meeting people. I contacted one or two at first, chatted online or emailed for a few evenings to find out a bit more about them," Ms Burscough remarked.

Her top tip for those interested in online dealings is to talk on the phone before arranging to meet in person.
