Online dating 'is a straightforward method'

Single soldiers may have certain stereotypical beliefs about online dating, but it has many advantages above other methods.

This is particularly true for those who either are not able or do not wish to head out to bars and clubs to meet a potential partner.

Online dating offers a more precise way of selecting somebody suitable and can make it far easier to meet somebody than standing in the middle of a busy bar or club attempting to talk to strangers.

Ele Pawelski from the Globe and Mail agrees, as she found internet dating to be the ideal platform to meet a partner in her 40s.

"Online dating [is] the most straightforward way to find a partner once you're out of school," she confirms.

It is also a good way to find somebody trustworthy, as Professor Aaron Ben-Ze'ev recently told the Guardian online dating makes it impossible to lie about "constitutive personal features".
