Local girl strips for Help for Heroes

A 21-year-old woman from Middlewich has stripped off in a bid to raise money for Help For Heroes.

Xenia Marshall took part in a Calendar-Girls style photo shoot to generate cash for the charity and to show her support to her soldier boyfriend, the Middlewich Guardian reports.

Her other half, Lance Corporal Daniel Tinsley is a Commando in the Royal Engineers.

Ms Marshall told the news provider she is thrilled to be able to support the troops and raise funds for such a "brilliant cause".

"The shoot went well. It was a bit embarrassing at first being in front of everyone without much on but by the end of the day all the girls were quite relaxed with it all," she added.

Earlier this month, Wendy Murfitt jumped out of a plane to raise funds for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and Families Association.

Ms Murfitt works for the organisation and stated she wanted to mark the establishment's 125th anniversary by doing something special.
