Little girl gets stuck in arcade claw toy machine, followed by sister

There are few things in life funnier than when someone gets stuck somewhere rather comical, or viral videos. When these two things combine, hilarity often ensues, and this is something that happened recently in the US, when two small girls got themselves stuck in an arcade machine and someone caught it on video. 

We all loved those grabber machines when we were young. The allure of being able to win a soft toy that almost resembled a character from South Park was too much to resist. For one young girl in America though, the desire to win a cuddly toy got a bit too much to handle. Out on a shopping trip with her mother, the youngster waited until no one was watching before she made a bid for the daring plan.

Climbing in the prize chute, the girl clearly had her eyes on grabbing a few toys and making a swift exit. Sadly, as the YouTube video filmed by a bystander proved, it turned out to be much harder to get out of the machine than it was to get in, and the young girl became stuck. 

As if that wasn't comical enough, her older sister then decided the best course of action to save her sibling from being stuck for all eternity was not to call for help, but to also enter the machine. The video begins with the two girls stood in the machine as their mother frantically tries to figure out a way to free them and a man behind the camera offers to get them out with the use of the machines grabber. 

Thankfully, their imprisonment in the machine was just long enough to be funny without edging towards serious and worrying. After a few minutes inside, the older girl managed to find a way to wriggle herself back into the prize chute to allow those outside to pull her out by her legs. 

And although the younger of the two prisoners was at first far too scared to try the same escape route, the YouTube uploader later reported that her mother was able to coax her out. A happy ending to what was a quite hilarious afternoon trip for the family.
