Getting it on is risky business?

Getting it on is risky business?

While there is no doubt that everyone enjoys their fair share of fun, we Brits might want to be a bit more careful when it comes our bedroom antics.

That's because a new study has revealed a whopping 18 million adults in the UK have sustained injuries because of their sexy antics in the last year alone, the Daily Mail reported.

Common complaints included bruises, pulled muscles and cricked necks, but two per cent of couples have even suffered from broken bones as a result of their bedroom behaviour.

Not only did the survey - undertaken by phonepiggybank.com - reveal that sex can be a risky activity but it can also be an expensive pastime, as almost half of those questioned admitted to damaging something while getting it on.

The average cost of sex-related breakages amounted to a certainly not cheap £154.

"Sex is a risky business these days," said a spokesperson for the site.

Cheryl Cole was recently voted as the sexiest woman in the world for the second year running by readers of FHM magazine, beating off competition from the likes of Jessica Alba and Megan Fox.
