When most people are asked what they want to do on their 100th birthday, the answer for the majority would be to just sit back and relax, perhaps with the family coming around for tea and enjoying a little bit of birthday cake. However, for one grandmother who has just reached the massive milestone, this couldn't be further from the truth, as she looks to celebrate her big birthday in style.

Georgina Harwood from South Africa is not content with just sitting at home and getting old, and the adrenaline junki granny took to the skies and the sea when she undertook a number of different high-octane activities to usher in the start of her second century.

On Saturday (March 14th), the centenarian went up in a plane high above her home country, before plummeting back down to earth with a parachute attached to her back as she enjoyed a nail-biting skydive. The event, in which she was joined by 15 family members, was the third time Ms Harwood had leapt from a plane, with her first skydive having come in 2012 when she was 97!

She went on to tell the local news provider in South Africa that she thought it wonderful to see so many people around her celebrating her birthday and enjoying her big day with a particular flair.

And that's not all for Georgina either. After her big day on Saturday, the centenarian also set off on Sunday to get into a cage which would be surrounded by one of nature's greatest predators – the great white shark. Ms Harwood will be taking part in the unique feeding time as she ticks off another of those must-do events from her list.

What a way to celebrate the start of your second century on earth!ADNFCR-2867-ID-801779868-ADNFCR
